The world around you changes before you even know about it and then you are asked to adjust!...LIFE, they call it!

When things don't work out the way you planned or the way you want them to you realize there are higher powers working around. there is some existence that is controlling everything even you and your life. Life is so unpredictable. You give your entire life to something, thinking about it, planning for it and anxiously waiting for it and when it is there you are not! You are somewhere else with someone else planning something different altogether and waiting for something else. Human beings are fascinating creatures. We have the ability to adjust, adapt, change, alter...forgive (maybe not forget) and move on!...This ability in life makes everything so insignificant except time. Everything is a function of time. At one time in life you value something and can not even imagine your existence without it and at another point you value something else; making what came earlier less significant.

True this is life....right now for me nothing is making sense. I can't reason myself to be happy with where and what i am. This happens to me (:p)..i have high happy moments and extremely low moments when it becomes difficult to breathe( not having that right now thank God).
Sometimes you want to run away from your own existence from what defines you from what you are!...
Stop time and space..run really fast till the time the wind has been able to peel off every layer of identity you had worn on yourself and then pause and Think! Free from all networks of individual and societal relations.....we should be able to experience times like these once in a while..:p

  1. ...sometimes its about valuation, sometimes its about this unpredictable story called life. if u didn't miss something in life, if there isn't something you could wish for, if there isn't something worth working towards, you are not living.
Life = f(time), keeping all other factors variable
    so non-scientific right?

Ker lo jo bhi kerna hai
    Hota hai jo hona hai
guzra ye pal to phir na aye ga....
Kya bhala hai, kya bura hai
    Waqt hi shayad Khuda hai
Ho jane do phir dekha jsye ga

  3. I find its important to find a couple of things that you know will never desert you (ie God, family, really good friends, maybe a couple books or movies) and use them as your anchor (nautical theme intended Captain). As long as you have them, no other changes in life can ever really get to you.

  4. Reuben, good comment!

Seher, I believe that as long as you find your direction, life is there. Don't forget we are in such a long journey. what challenges you and me now are just like little tiny stones in our long long life.

@Reuben...thanks...says a lot=D..do u believe in this yourself?:p...and u have the potential to be a good friend (i think;p) apart from the fact that u had a good time making fun of me:p..lol..

@sandy..true the more you broaden your horizons and get the 'helicopter view' every problem looks very small=D...just that at times you are so much part of that problem that zoom out becomes difficult..

  6. @ Seher: i thought its the "bird-eye view". Its ok if you wanna be a helicopter instead. LOL....i know this is not making sense but what else do you expect from someone who is sleepy yet studying for a class tomorrow morning, eh?

  7. Wait, isn't mockery what friends are for?? (this is where Fatima comes iin with the remark that all people that used to be in the military are inherently mean)

  8. i guess its better to take my words back at least for now...with this remark and the one about the withdrawal of granola bars, i can see i am in trouble.
We shall keep peace until Pakistan is self-sufficient to keep its own stock of granola bars.
